Consumers beware! Skin care product reviews are NOT created equal!
If you are a consumer, the last thing you want to do is become tricked into which eye cream is best for you. You need to make your selection of which skin care product based on facts and REAL reviews. Being backed into a decision based on some false commentary is the last thing you need to do. This is why I can suggest to you that the link I’m about to provide is one you should bookmark and keep in mind when you buy skin care products. Just because this entry is about eye creams does not mean it doesn’t pertain to other products, but since eye creams have reached a certain level of popularity, it’s the example we’re using today.
This page is pretty much the best written piece on how to use eye cream reviews wisely.
Take the time to read it, of course, as all you will find here is a summary about what was already stated. That entry hits the nail on the proverbial head when it comes to sifting through the numerous “real consumer” reviews you will find online.
The truth of the matter is that the article talks about where to find the best eye cream reviews. You may not like the answer you are about to hear, but it’s just the truth with the Internet these days. Some websites are nothing but malarkey, and are trying to sell you something they are commissioned to sell you. While the FTC has set up strict rules and guidelines for these types of marketers, not everyone plays by the rules. Often times I stumble into reviews of skin care products that just seem to talk about the miracles behind the products they just used. I kind of chuckle when I read these, as who has the time to type out a 10,000 word essay about an experience with a skin care product? Seriously, sometimes I see such graphical advancement, pop-ups, pop-unders, and offers coming at me from every direction, and I ask myself – is this “blogger” someone with nothing better to do than tell me the miraculous story of her skin care experience – or someone who has a serious IT background and spends all day trying to market this site in an effort to sell me something? Makes you go, Hmmmm…..
The article talks about “real” places to search for eye cream reviews. They list Amazon.com as one. Very commendable. If there are bad experiences with a product, they will be left by the consumers. If there are good experiences, the same logic applies. Amazon is like an eBay, only for goods that are always new. If your product stinks, you’ll hear about it. If your product is great, you are sure to get some praise. One things is consistent though – consumers, not bloggers and web marketers, are the ones putting these reviews in.
It’s a world where everyone is trying to make a buck, take the next step, and recoop money lost in the recent economic crisis. While skin care products often times work wonders on your skin, you need to take note of who you are actually believing when you buy these products based on their suggestions.

“Always looking out for the skin care consumers!”
With all of the anti aging ingredients out there that are backed up by successful clinical testing, it truly is hard to weed out the cream of the crop. Well, in the case of Renovage, it’s easy to separate it from the pack and point out why it’s one of the all time greats in the anti aging industry. Today we’ll take a closer look at Renovage and the wonderful traits it can pass on to your skin.
The first thing we’ll point out today is that Renovage works at the cellular level where many factors in your skin’s overall long term success get decided. Your youthful look as well as long-term stability of your skin all starts here.
This particular anti aging ingredient manages cells and corrects at the cellular level. Studies conducted on Renovage show exactly this statement, and the results are quite impressive when you boil them down and magnify them. The in vitro study claims it is a positive contributor in coetaneous functional recovery and structural recovery. Another clinical study identified visible and structural improvements to the skin and signs of aging. While firmness improved 35%, overall skin tone improved 45%, and a 56% reduction in pigment spots was also shown in this study. Fine lines and visible wrinkles were also reduced in this study, and this is one sign of aging that is not easily treated.
Since Renovage works at the DNA level, it has the ability to correct signs of aging and actually rejuvenate/stimulate DNA levels, which is far more advanced than a cream that simply treats wrinkles and do nothing to actually make the skin’s appearance look younger. The overwhelming majority of skin care products do not address the almighty sings of aging, such as skin tone, redness, enlarged pores, and age spots – which Renovage clearly does.
Here are the signs of aging Renovage works on:
1. Functions of your Skin – With Renovage 60% will be replenished based on Clinical tests.
2. Cell Resistance – Clinical testing showed Renovage had the ability to regenerate 75% to 100% of the skin at the cellular level, eliminating the toxins that cause wrinkles, sunspots, redness, and pores that are enlarged.
3. Wound Healing – You may not realize that wrinkles are actually a wound and Renovage can heal not only wrinkles but cuts and scars too.
4. Fight Off Signs Of Aging – Clinical studies confirmed that once Renovage is started the skin is able to continuously fight off aging.
Renovage also fights free radical damage, much like an antioxidant rich skin product. This may lead to overall better texture of the skin and improved softness.
Perhaps one of the top anti aging ingredients on the market today, you can find Renovage in the best anti aging creams and daily repair creams. One such cream that has been impressive in it’s short existence is the Telomere Cell Cream, which is sold by EliteSkin. You can read an in-depth review of the Telomere Cell Cream (and even rate the product if you have used it) on a site we enjoy reading.

Playing an important role in the immune system, the thymus is largest upon birth and becomes reduced in size with age. As one of the essential organs within the body, the thymus produces t-cells within the body and also is also responsible for the production of
Comprised of two lobes and located in the chest cavity, the thymus is fifteen grams in size at birth and by the age of seventy years it is reduced to as low as five grams. With this reduction as we age, signs of aging begin to occur not only within the body but also through the skin (where the effects of aging are most noticed.
Researchers have learned of the importance of the thymus in the role of signs of aging through the body and the skin and have developed products that have been created for this extensive research, products that have the ability to maintain the role of the thymus and therefore reduce the appearance of aging through the skin and the effects of aging through the body.
With the reduction in size that is created in the thymus comes a reduction in the ability of the immune system to work effectively, removing toxins from the body as well as removing toxins from the skin.
It is important to realize the importance of the role that the immune system plays in the role of aging. The function of the immune system is essential to reduce the signs of aging through the face and skin, removing toxins from the body that can contribute to the signs of aging and also reducing the instance of free radicals within the cells of the skin that can lead to aging.
Promoting the immune system with products that contain Thymulen 4, a product that has been created to reduce the decline of the thymus, can be an effective way to reduce the signs of aging through the body and through the cells of the inner layers of the skin, reducing the signs of aging through the exterior of the skin.
As well as retaining the function of the immune system, Thymulen has the ability to increase the production of Keratinocyte, a crucial cell within the inner layers of the skin as well as increasing the production of Langerhans cells, which are cells of the immune system located through the layers of the skin.
These unique components are used to create ingredients within the skin that can regenerate the epidermis, creating new skin layers and cells to increase the appearance of youthful skin, but also increasing the health of the skin. These elements are an effective way to retain a youthful glow and reduce the instance of fine lines and wrinkles that can lead to aged skin.

Wrinkle System is a brand that is doing very well with it’s Dark Circle Serum. Perhaps you recognize the name from the video review done on the home page by Danica Jardien, makeup artist to Tyra Banks. This video was recently posted on the Wrinkle System YouTube channel, and it features a four year old named Tim talking about how his mother uses the products.
It’s a cute video and a nice way to acknowledge an advertiser.
Age spots and what some people call “sun spots” can be a serious nuisance to the skin and make even the healthiest looking person appear years older than they actually area. Before I can delve into just how you can get rid of age spots, it’s probably beneficial to explain how you can prevent age spots.
The sun is the biggest single source of causing age spots and other forms of semi-permanent skin damage, especially on the face and neck. Your pigmentation can change quite rapidly due to overexposure to the sun, and it’s something that builds up over time as you spend hours, days, and eventually, weeks basking in the sun, whether it is on purpose or not. Some people will go outside, lather up with oils and creams, in an effort to change their skin to the darkest color possible. While this can lead to a short term “killer tan” as some people would say, it can also lead to long term damage in the form of wrinkles and sun spots.
Most people will agree it is nearly impossible to avoid the sun. No matter what region of the world you live in, the sun shines in some form or another and it’s impossible to avoid it, even in winter months. There are a few ways you can protect yourself from the sun, of course, the most obvious being using sunblock. In addition to using an spf sunblock, you can wear protective clothing such as hats, sunglasses, or even a bandana wrapped around the face if you are standing in line or in another situation where you are going to receive direct sunlight. Of course, if you are wearing sunblock on a daily basis, which is recommended, especially if you live near the equator, try to find something without any odor or that is light in volume.
Now that we’re straight on how to prevent age spots, sun spots, and one I didn’t mention earlier, liver spots, it’s time we address the topic at hand: how to get rid of them.
Let’s start out by listing a few methods that MAY work to get rid of sun spots.
1. Wrinkle Creams. Most anti wrinkle creams are marketing themselves as an “end all” formula to get rid of wrinkles, fine lines, dark under eye circles, and now, yes, age spots. While anti wrinkle creams may conceal the appearance of sun spots or damage, they will NOT remove them nor treat them therapeutically. Any wrinkle cream marketed as such is simply lying or making up claims that they cannot back up. Look on for a new anti wrinkle solution if there are strong claims such as “age spots” in their list of claims.
2. Chemical Peels. These are becoming very popular, because they work. Performed by a Doctor, these peels are invasive, that is a serious “kicker” to some people, and there can be some pain when it’s performed, but it’s all for a purpose. Chemical peels work to burn off and kill the skin cells on the first layer of skin, allowing new skin that was not damaged underneath to reach the surface, revealing a new look. One person who I asked recently about chemical peels said “it’s like a giant exfoliation project.” Interesting….
One downfall to the chemical peel process is that the entire face needs about a week to slough off the dead skin cells and essentially come back to normal. So if you choose to use this method, be sure you select to do this on a week where you don’t have any important meetings or events planned!
3. Skin brighteners. Usually containing hydroquinone, a skin brightener can essentially lighten the skin. This includes moles, freckles, and of course, age spots. However, skin brighteners have some drawbacks. For starters, while skin brighteners do work, it will take several weeks for results to appear. Then, once results are achieved, they can vanish quite rapidly once the affected area is exposed to the sun.
One proven method to get rid of age spots is microdermabrasion. This process uses a metal brush which drags very fine teeth across the skin, which removes dead skin cells.
Whatever method you use, just keep in mind that it requires patience. Just like the age spots did not appear overnight, they won’t vanish overnight as well.
